Meet the Experts: Designing space missions
Space missions are complex and require input from many specialists. The Concurrent Design Facility (CDF) is where most of ESA missions are conceived and conceptually designed. In this episode of Meet the Experts, Massimo Bandecchi, the founding father of ESA’s CDF, explains Concurrent Design (CD) and some of the missions studied using this methodology.

A four fold productivity increase is impressive. It does suggest a lot of productivity headroom though but then this is built from the ground up.
I think that the most important thing esa should do is to compete/colaborate with spacex and create a European flying system like the future spaceship
Amazing. Please….subtitles
Thanks ESA❤🙏
Love your space information !
good
WOW!!THATS AMAZING!!BUT AM TOO LATE TO SEE THE VEDIO
WILL THIS WONT GIVE ANY HEALTH IMPACT FOR HUMANS WHO TRAVEL ??
Hey, i have a suggestion. Please read the full comment.
So, you are making the Service Module for Orion, right? Well, i'd think this gives at least a few european astronauts the possibility to go to the Moon. An astronaut i would especially recommend for such a mission is Luca Parmitano. You see, he has experience of surprising situations in space. (That one incident when he was conducting a spacewalk on the ISS, and then water leaked into his helmet.) Please take this comment seriously? Thanks.
Max is awesome…
Excelent vídeo! Thanks to ESA.
