Woah Woah Woah, wait a second. "America's next giant leap"? What happened to "one giant leap for MANKIND"? I get that NASA is an American organisation, but from space there are no borders. Everything that has happened in terms of space exploration in the past has been seen as a feat of mankind, not of one country. Why change that now?
