The Civil Rights Act of 1964 was signed into law July 2, 1964 by President Lyndon Baines Johnson, the namesake of NASA¹s Johnson Space Center.

I was born in 1968, a year of revolution, social turbulence and challenge of traditional ideas.
The 60s was a decade of hope, optimism and belief that almost anything was possible! -
Watched the movie "12 years a slave" just yesterday.
Fucking hell we've come a long way compared to those times.
Looking at the situation today gives hope in a big way. -
why not celebrate 50 years of individuals not particular groups
