A wreath-laying ceremony at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is one of many tributes to NASAs fallen heroes on this Day of Remembrance.

"god is not real" Prove it!
Unquestionably! No one can read the Gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus. His personality pulsates in every word. No myth is filled with such life. Albert Einstein
The situation may be expressed by an image: science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind. Albert Einstein
There are people who say there is no God, but what makes me really angry is that they quote me for support of such views. Albert Einstein

"god is not real"
The fanatical atheistsare creatures who cannot hear the music of the spheres. I do not share the crusading spirit of the professional atheist. What separates me from most so-called atheists is a feeling of utter humility toward the unattainable secrets of the harmony of the cosmos. Albert Einstein

"god is not real"
Every one who is seriously involved in the pursuit of science becomes convinced that a spirit is manifest in the laws of naturea spirit vastly superior to that of man, and one in the face of which we with our modest powers must feel humble. In this way the pursuit of science leads to a religious feeling of a special sort. Albert Einstein
I remember that during columbia STS-107 mission, on 28th january 2003, the crew honoured their colleagues of challenger 51-L, showing the official nasa crew portrait.
@americanjedi77 well how much is it? we threw shitloads of money at banks "too big to fail," so while i don't necessarily say tell the govt. to use that black amex, let's be reasonable. also, why can we not join in a collab with other countries? there's jaxa, china, india, russia, esa, and even iran who launch satellites plus private companies. if we plan to do space exploration beyond leo as humankind, get the entire planet involved in the effort and split the bill.
@americanjedi77 I suggest instead of cutting our NASA moon missions we should get rid of the corrupt officials in the white house like Nancy Peloski and many other people who are stealing billions of dollars each month and using it to buy there own private Boeing 767 jets. They steal more money then the NASA space program has ever even used and no one even does shit about it.
None?
Try to sit on a 2000tons vehicle loaded with highly exposive fuel, during lauch.
Or traveling near 28000kph in at 1500°c during reentry.
Wear a suit for EVA, a scratch on it and you are gone in seconds.
It's called awareness of risks.
They know that, every single astronaut that sits in a rocket is well aware that is a risky business.
There is an HUGE difference.
So say we all
While I wish you used less curse words, your right about the technology.
Everyone seems to forget how it is we have cell phones, GPS, wireless internet, satellites and other technological innovations that makes lives easier in the present and for the future. It didn't get up there by itself. That's one reason I have HUGE respect for NASA and what they do.
Aww no prob bob! LOL!! 🙂
Deep respect for them all.
Many of the everyday things that we take for granted today come from the efforts of NASA and the aerospace field. We have learned a myriad of things from the works of these quality engineers. Much of the understanding of how the universe works comes from people who chose to dream big.
@Rob260259 Wrong. Which everyday things???by the way? are those persons you're referring to the same persons who say the laws of physics don't work?????
