  1. @ws74rq111 they roll the rocket so the top (the back when its on the launch pad) is facing the heading they want to go

  2. @zahaj I'm in college studying aeronautical engineering with a 4.0 GPA. I speak french French, German, and I'm learning Italian. I'm 160 pounds.

  3. @ws74rq111 Lots of times that's just because the pads were built like that. Like for the Space Shuttle, since they used the Saturn V pads that were already built they had to roll too. For the Saturns I think the pads were built like that for ease of use, like driving them out to the pad and stuff.
