Earth’s magnetic field is our life saver, protecting us from the energetic solar wind. The Swarm satellites will measure Earth’s magnetic field to allow us to understand it for a safer future.

I thought this was a cool video. Great visuals, ethereal music track, and a cool red paint job on the satellites. I think space is inherently interesting but a stale approach leads to disinterest, and public disinterest leads to less science funding. There should be more art/science crossover – like the Winter Olympics art on the Souyuz that just blasted off. Anyway, I like this video a lot. Good work.
