🚩 This is the story about Sophie Scholl, a young German student who defied Adolf Hitler by printing leaflets in opposition to the Nazi regime. She was arrested in February 1943, tried, conviced and beheaded by guilotine. She was only 21 years old.
🚩 The divergent evolution of the Norse world from the 11th century onwards was, above all, influenced by each country’s geopolitical limitations. This explains the different stages of military Europeanisation that each region attained up to the late twelfth century.
