That’s right… somehow Steve Spangler convinced the FedEx driver to take her shoes off and to walk in a tub of broken glass. Steve is always trying out some science experiment on the FedEx drivers who work our shipping and receiving center. They’ve test out our Bed of Nails, triggered soda geysers, walk on a big vat of cornstarch and water… but today was one of the best. If you listen closely, you can hear her final words… “The UPS guy wouldn’t do that!”

The Tea Bag Rocket is really an adaptation of a classic science demonstration called the Ditto Paper Rocket. Each piece of Ditto paper had a sheet of tissue paper that separated the two-part form, and it was this discarded piece of paper that kids used to make the “rocket.” Since Ditto paper is a thing of the past, science teachers found a simple replacement – a tea bag.
