  1. i strongly reject the logic behind sedentary and nomadic peoples being more or less open to egality … there are just as many examples of nomadic cultures where women and men have clearly seperated roles, the woman is clearly subordinate, and ofc NEVER EVER is allowed to bear arms and wage war, but is in fact property, and spoil of war…and that ironically is especially true for the bedu tribes of arabia even pre islam…but also to a lot of american native tribes, african pastoralist tribes, the bloody mongols for crying out loud, etc. etc.
    So im sorry but that is a load of crock monsieur.
