WV wasn't neutral in 1861 it was part of VA it didn't become an independent state until 1863 .
An excellent overview! Thank You!
I had no idea that the prime aim of the Civil War was establishing a solid marketplace for art and collectibles.
I still don’t understand how the south lost
Superior numbers, superior industry and manufacturing, superior military technology.
A very good strategic overview
Let's have round 2. Damn this transgender republic!!
Why did the Union win? Because of strong Western men handling their business from Missouri to Vicksburg, Vicksburg to Chattanooga, Chattanooga to Atlanta, Atlanta to North Carolina
Dang the union got their asses whooped for a pretty good time.
I never knew much about the american civil war besides the name of some ppl and battles. This was a perfect way to finally learn about this historical event!
As an indiana dweller i must say, seeing our claim over oklahoma filled me with immense pride.
Give it back.
Good video but you skipped a ton of the war including almost all of the major battles that happened on the East coast which includes the battle of Gettysburg. Not only was it the most important battle of the Civil War but it is the largest battle to ever take place on both American continents and was the most deadly battle to take place on either American continent . And there were many other very large battles between the main Union Army, The Army of the Potomac (led by many different man during the war) and the main Confederate Army, The Army of Northern Virginia (led by Robert E. Lee for everything but the very beginning of the war). Those 2 armies were much larger then the other armies each nation had in the West theater of the war.
