Elastic potential energy in the slapler remover is converted into kinetic energy in the stapler. Then the kinetic energy will be transferred to the spoon then to the object, causing it to be catapulted away from the spoon. The flying object has gravitational force acting on it, causing it to drop eventually after some time and all of their kinetic energy will be converted into heat and sound energy, causing it to stop moving.
