It's fascinating that Elon was pushed out of PayPal with something like $160 million and ended up starting a rocket company. The safe thing to do was retire young and party. Instead Elon threw every cent he had into two companies both of which had almost no statistical chance of success. He crashed on a friend's couch and with days to spare got a contract with NASA and used his own money to save Tesla. Both companies surviving would be amazing. Fast forward 10 years and SpaceX dominates space cargo at about half of all cargo and is targeting a 20,000 times expansion at 100 times less per ton. His vision is transforming space. Tesla was supposed to get crushed by experienced car manufacturers but instead he's years ahead. In some countries Tesla is the best selling car. I could go on but in 20 years or less they could totally dominate. Elon plays the game different. He looks at the technology and asks how to make it better with very smart people and he is fearless. Sure he has faults, but the net result is he doesn't aim to participate. He aims to disrupt and dominate. Young people today should study his story and find more things to disrupt.
I watched Elon speaking with NASA and Degrasse Tyson.
He speaks more fluenty with them than those media guys/interviewers..
So, i think when he speaks with those interviewers he speaks that way bcz he needs to speak to their level, he cant be free to talk any technical thing.

That is called sincere work for humanity, and not for fame and money.
