Virtual Reality for body and mind
ESA astronaut Andreas Mogensen explains how two experiments involving virtual reality makes on International Space Station. The first is Virtual Assistance Mental Balance (VAMB) where Andreas gets to enjoy a calm setting in nature that helps him relax. The second one is VR for Exercise, where he cycles on the Space Station’s exercise bike and through different bike routes in Denmark on the VR headset, which has quickly become a favourite for Andreas.

I expected this. Good idea.
Hello ESA💙🖌
This looks extremely fun, especially while in space.
@EuropeanSpaceAgency can i have one? 😂
Hi Andreas! 😊👍Riding an exercise bike is so boring but with a virtual reality headset it would be more fun. Probably very expensive.
HTC Vive Focus 3
So awesome!! ❤
Er der andre end Andreas der får lov til at bruge virtual-udstyret? Tænker det kunne gi et bredere testresultat.
Funny, I use my VR glasses to go into the ISS sometimes 😂
The human mind is very complex. Hence caution should be exercised in this experiment.
Turns out that "VR for Exercise" is one of the research projects I've been citing inside my Master's thesis! I find it so interesting to see how many uses VR has for astronauts and the aerospace industry ✨ Greetings from Italy!
❤
That's awesome!
Hej , stod op tidligt i morges, den 5/3, og vinkede til Jer kl 5.23. Et flot syn at se SSI glide hen over himlen.Det ser ud til at være den sidste gang vi for jer at se inden du returnere til jorden. Så knæk og bræk og god tur hjem 🇩🇰🌞
