The Mars Science Laboratory, also known as Curiosity, rolled across a clean room floor at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, essentially taking its first “steps” before proud mission team members. The largest rover ever made for Mars is scheduled to launch to the Red Planet in the fall of 2011. @sexydorkmo I'm still confused by this too. I think that they are continuing with the Orion capsule but not the plans past that. There is research to be done: To the internet!

Going back to the tried-and-tested apollo vehicle design nasa is on a winner.But, handing over luanch mechanisms to private enterprise is a bad idea.
