This is the battle that shake the Islam from western Europe. They were some battles later, but this was the epic that determine its end in the Iberia peninsula. Without this, Europe might still be governed by the Islam. Also, this is the only territory that Islam has lost after their expansion in the VIII century. One of the most important battle of Europe by far.
