The third U.S. National Climate Assessment was released which took observations from NASA’s fleet of satellites to help understand climate change in the United States. Also, NASA’s Orbiting Carbon Observatory-2 spacecraft arrived at California’s Vandenberg Air Force Base to begin final preparations for a scheduled July 1 launch. In Florida, the remaining flight hardware for the Delta IV rocket that will launch NASA’s Orion spacecraft on Exploration Flight Test-1 in December arrived at Port Canaveral. At the Stennis Space Center, a cold-shock test for the RS-25 engine that will help power NASA’s new Space Launch System rocket was completed. The Chandra X-ray Observatory found new stars, simulated space dust was created on earth, a new ISS crew trains in Russia, Shannon Lucid and Jerry Ross are inducted into the Astronaut Hall of Fame and NASA recognizes the small business community for helping the agency work toward achieving its goals!

  1. Oh yeah. And where did all that WATER come from? You know. The whole planet Pluto is made out of ICE which is frozen WATER not frozen cold air. Details details details. Everything the new church is teaching is as bullshitty as what the old Church taught. NASA and science is the new church.

  2. Climate change is natural and constant. We're not the ones causing it, but we are speeding it up by burning fossil fuels and releasing Carbon Dioxide captured by plants and animals 350,000,000 years ago.

No matter what we do, Climate Change will always occur. We would have to change the climate ourselves, manually, if we wanted to keep the same weather patterns over the next few hundred years.

  3. Big surprise there. Hey NASA. What changed the climate on mars??????. Fuckin b.s. on a biblical scale. So to speak. And where or where did all that WATER come from that formed the planet Pluto????? After all Pluto is ICE. AND ICE IS WATER AFTERALL. Not just cold coldness. Hard to believe no one posed this question before eh???????????

  4. The only thing dumber than people who claim humans CANT impact the earth are those who point skyward and shout CLIMATE CHANGE IS HUMANS FAULT AND WE NEED NEW TAXES AND LAWS TO FIX IT!
