NASA’s GRAIL spacecraft launched to the moon aboard a United Launch Alliance Delta II rocket on Sept. 10, 2011, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla.
GRAIL’s primary science objectives are to determine the structure of the lunar interior, from crust to core, and to advance understanding of the thermal evolution of the moon.

MARK 1 Minits
How did they get such a good angle at 3:10?
The rocket is so over powered, look how man SRB it have!
Watching that thing take off..beautiful!!
Well, it only uses six of them at liftoff and then ignites the other three once the first six have burned out. So, it's not using all nine at the same time. I agree with you, though. There is a lot of power in that launch vehicle.
After 54 years and 325 launches (including many famous science missions) Space Launch Complex 17 has been put to sleep.
I saw this launch from the Renaissance Hotel across the street from Seaworld Orlando!
