ESA Euronews: Space debris
Space debris has become a pressing issue, with objects in orbit flying out of control, posing a risk to satellites and to astronauts. We attended a meeting of space debris experts at ESA’s ESTEC technology base in the Netherlands to find out more about what can be done to deal with the problem.

So no debris removing solution will be impletented in the foreseeable future?
Why not just use the world's nukes and detonate it from the outside to push the debris into the atmosphere and sacrifice the satalites for new ones.
Basically push the debris from the outside towards the Earth using explosives but first get the big debris out the way like cleaning a car properly.
How much of this space debris is magnetic?
How much of this space debris can be melted to join together?
Seriously if I was a billionaire right now I would start doing more action to see what works than theories doubting them all.
Beautiful! Looking forward to videos about biology-focused research!
My solution for space-junk 1) lazer-gun 2) spray water in orbits where there is a lot of junk. Water will not effect large items but slow down and de-orbit the little trash!
If we don't act we will be.. Well, grounded, maybe forever. And we can't let that happen.. Lads, share this video with others to gain more awareness of the situation
The solution to space junk is quite obviously a space junkyard. Just bury all that crap somewhere we cannot see it or dump it into an empty area above the atlantic or pacific oceans.
Look at all that debris… No wonder aliens are coming and they're gonna give us a littering ticket. The one true PROOF of habitation.humanity at its finest…yay.

2:01 didn't know Roger Federer did rocket science.
It's all NASA's fault
