What happens when you have a build-up of gas? Don’t answer that question! The gas in question is carbon dioxide and the explosion is nothing short of fun. Warning: It’s impossible to do this activity just once. It is addicting and habit-forming. Proceed at your own risk!

  1. because if you add fizzling tablet to water its powder form is coming up and if youwill close it be cause of the pressure it has that result. isnt it ?

  2. We did this in school and it popped WAY higher. How this works first the alka seltzer dizolves to make CO2 and the carbon dioxide makes pressure and it trys to escape so the tighter u put the lid on the higher it goes!
